Class Participation
Course participation (10 % of final grade) will be assessed based on attending class meetings, completing in-class writing assignments, contributing to in-class discussions, and providing written feedback to fellow students during Writers Workshops. Reading quizzes (10 % of final grade) will be given at the beginning of some class periods. Students arriving after the quiz is completed will not be able to take the quiz.
