Each week, students will turn in a response paper based on the readings for the class session. The response paper should be a minimum of two pages (typed, double-spaced). The response paper should:

  • summarize the meaning of the reading
  • establish the main point or points
  • discuss one major idea and
    • challenge it or
    • validate it with experiences or
    • explore the validity (it may be valid here but not there)

The purpose of the paper is to create links between the readings and real life situation.

Each written assignment is worth 10% of your final grade.

All written assignments should be e-mailed to the professor at Cezeaux@aol.com by 5 PM on the Sunday before each course meeting.
