I received my PhD from Harvard University in 2004. My dissertation was a reconstruction of Nyulnyulan verb morphology, concentrating on Bardi. Since 2004 I've been Assistant Professor of Linguistics at Rice University.
For the last few years I've been working on Yan-nhaŋu, a Yolŋu language spoken in Arnhem Land.
