Welcome

to

Kush Mathur’s Transport II Website

Purpose:

This site contains Kush Mathur’s Transport II Project for ChBE 402 taught by Professor S.H. Davis at Rice University. The project includes an overview of Mass Transport in Porous Media and Example 24.6-1 on Knudsen Diffusion worked-out in Maple from Chapter 24 of Bird, Stewart, and Lightfoot.  Also, Professor Hirasaki’s Matlab modules for adsorption were updated for additional components.

Project Items:

BSL Chapter 24-6, Example 1

Prof Hirasaki’s MATLAB modules (vdw.m and vdwdata.m) to plot adsorption for additional hydrocarbons
