Interim Oral Team Reports These are approximately fifteen minute presentations describing your initial researches on your team project. The presentation should give an overiview of the subject to be explored, and the results of research to date. Every member of the team should participate in the presentation so that for these interim reports the length of time each individual will speak is rather short. Teams have used a wide variety of presentation formats. Some ideas used previously are listed below. 1. Each team member describes some aspect of the disaster with one individual being assigned to give the overview. 2. The format is a court of inquiry or investigating commission or trial court for damages. 3. A skit is used as part of the presentation. 4. Questions are planted in the audience to be asked of individuals representing various stakeholders in the situation. Perhaps your team can come up with a new approach. You are not stuck with your interim report approach for the final presentation. Your team should schedule a meeting with Prof. Linda Driskill (713)348-2639, Anderson 211C, (driskila@rice.edu) of theCain Project by March 15 to practice your presentation. The presentation will be videotaped, and she and the class will review the team perfomances on March 22. |
