Welcome to my web page! I work at the Economics Department and at the Baker Institute for Public Policy, both at Rice University in Houston, Texas. My current research focuses on the implications of energy and environmental issues for the macroeconomy, and on related policy issues. Specifically, I study the impact of innovation in the energy sector for economic growth, as well as emissions trading and the adaptation of new technologies. I am also interested in over-the-counter energy markets.
