Welcome to my web page! I work at the Economics Department and at the Baker
Institute for Public Policy at Rice University
in Houston, Texas. My current research focuses on optimal policy related to
energy, the environment, and the macroeconomy.
Specifically, I am studying finance and innovation in fossil and renewable
energy sources and their implications for employment and economic growth. I have
also worked on financial institutions and on monetary policy. Finally, I am
interested in the macroeconomic and energy policies of the European Union.
