Dr.
You Zeng joined
Prof. Ajayan's group at Rice University as a visiting scientist in
August 2008.
He received his Ph. D in Materials Physics and Chemistry from Shenyang
National
Laboratory for Material Sciences (SYNL), Institute of Metal Research
(IMR), Chinese
Academy of Sciences (CAS), in 2004. Then he was cooperating with Prof.
Huiming
Cheng (Director of Advanced Carbon Division, SYNL, CAS) and carrying
out
research on functional CNT/polymer composites. He is an associate
professor of
polymeric materials at Shenyang Jianzhu University (China). His
research
interest is the design, fabrication and application of the advanced
functional
nanocomposites. |

Dr.
Changru Rong joined Prof.
Ajayan's group at Rice University in September 2008. He has worked on
the high
performance of carbon nanotubes and polymer composite in Jilin
University,
Changchun, China. His current research is focused on the fabrication of
graphene
polymeric complex and their studies |
Jung Joon Yoo Visiting Student |
JungJoon
Yoo joined Prof. Ajayan's group at
Rice University as a visiting student in september 2008. He is a Ph.D
student
in the Department of Materials science and Engineering at KAIST (South
Korea).
He worked on synthesis and characterization of metal or metal oxide/CNT
nanocomposite films. His current research interest is on high Tg-low Tg
polymer
self assembly for multifunctional nanocomposites

Yongjie
Li
joined Prof. Ajayan’s group at Rice University in October 2008. She
received
her B.S. in Chemistry from Lanzhou University in China in June 2005.
She has
previously worked on synthesis and application of microwave absorbers.
Her
current research interest is focused on synthesis of grapheme based
catalyst
for direct methanol fuel cells. |
Dr. Anchal Srivastava

Dr.
Anchal Srivastava received his Masters in Physics from
D.D.U. University, Gorakhpur, India. He obtained his Ph.D in 2002 from
Banaras Hindu
University, Varanasi, India for his work on synthesis and
characterization
of Carbon Nanotubes and continued as a postdoctoral researcher at the
same place. Since May 2004, he has been serving as
an Assistant Professor at Department of Physics, Banaras Hindu
University,Varanasi,
India. His current research interest is carbon nanotube and its
applications.
He joined Prof. Ajayan's group in October 2008 as a visiting scholar
under BOYSCAST fellowship (India).
