Quiz Information

Quizzes are held approximately weekly. Information about start and finish dates will be posted here. Occasionally, there will also be surveys (not graded) to help us evalutate your opinions about the class. All quizzes and surveys are delivered through the WebCT system (see below).

WebCT Information

Obtaining a WebCT Phys102 account

• First, go to the WebCT login page and choose the option Create a WebCT account and follow instructions. Even if you had a Webct account from last year, you need a new one.
• Once you have been emailed the necessary information, logon. You will go to your personal myWebCT homepage.
• At the bottom of that page, follow the link in the Institutional Bookmarks section called Rice WebCT courses. From there you should be able to add the course.

Taking a WebCT Quiz

• During the scheduled quiz time (usually at least 72 hours) log on to WebCT.
• On your myWebCT page, follow the link to Phys101/102.
• Follow the link marked Quizzes.
• Read the instructions there. This page also contains information about how to look at your previous quiz results.
• Also, read the Class Policies handout for more information.
