Announcements

  • Office Hours for Dr. Gilheart: Will be held in HZ 112 and will occur on Mon 10AM - 11AM, Tues 10AM -12PM and 2PM - 3PM, Wed 10AM - 12PM, and Thurs 10AM - 12PM. .
  • 4 Septmember: Tutorial session assignments are now posted! Everyone was assigned either a 1st or 2nd choice time, with most people receiving their 1st choice time. Remember that while you are welcome to attend any tutorial session, you can only receive redemption credit by attending your assigned tutorial session. Contact Dr. Gilheart if you do not see your name on the list so that you can be assigned to a session.
  • 26 August: Two surveys available under the "Tests & Quizzes" section over at the Owl-Space page, available until 11:59 PM on 8/31. These surveys are a good way to make sure the system is working in advance of quizzes that count for your grade. Also, they will provide us with helpful data so that we can teash you physics more effectively!
  • 21 August: Click on "Course Information" tab to find links to course policies document, syllabus, and other essential items. All essential infromation (except that pertaining to the lab portion of the course) will be mirrored on the Owl-Space page that you can access if you are registered for the course. Grades will also be available through Owl-Space.
  • IEEE Friday Lunch Series: The Rice chapter of IEEE, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, holds regular lunchtime talks on Fridays. These events are a great opportunity for anyone interested in an electrical engineering major and/or a career in related fields. For more information, refer to the schedule of events on the Rice IEEE webpage
