Welcome to Navigating Music Careers, a curriculum resource for Music 338 (undergraduate chamber music) at the Shepherd School of Music. Navigating Music Careers (NavMusic) is a web based archive of brief lessons on important music career topics. Click on a title and you will see Shepherd School faculty and other experts speaking on subjects that are important for building and maintaining a career in music.
NavMusic offers short video lessons on a variety of topics including career ideas, health and injury prevention and the music business. Most importantly, it provides some of the questions and answers that can help sustain the creative spirit in a life in music.
You may view these lessons in video format. Audio only streams also available for 56k or dial-up connections. Real Player is required to view the video lessons. With Real Player you can control your video streams. Pause, rewind and fast-forward through live audio or video clips while they play.
