    To Our Wedding Party...

The Bride and Groom - Logan & Melissa met at Rice University when he was a freshman and she was a junior. It was never love at first sight, but once they finally got together (with the help of a lot of Jack Daniels), they were inseperable. They were both members of the MOB (marching band) and Rice Hillel. Logan and Melissa both work for Rice - he as a Computer Technical Specialist (aka web surfer), and she as coordinator for the Band department.
"We would like to welcome everyone to our wedding. Today has been a personal labor of love for both of us for the past year and a half, and we are glad you could join us for this very special day. We would also like to thank our parents and grandparents for all their support and assistance."

Rabbi Stuart Federow - Stuart is the Rabbi at Shaar Hashalom in Clear Lake. We came to know Stuart in Rice Hillel, and he has been a wonderful friend for both of us.
"Hey, Stuart, who makes the roads roll? (we do, we do.) So very glad you could do the honors today."

Patrick Morrow - Pat is Melissa's best friend from college. He is married, and is studying for his doctorate at the University of Texas in Austin. We are glad that he accepted the unusual position of Man-Of-Honor for the wedding.
"Pat, I'm so glad you could be here for me. I owe you one, dude. By the way, you still have to keep my secret."

Jacob Ratner - Jacob is Logan's younger brother. He is a junior in the Hotel & Restaraunt Management Porgram at the University of Houston.
"Best man, best friend, more than a brother. Corny enough for ya?" "So Jacob, am I a keeper?"

Sarah Ryan - Sarah is another Rice grad, who was at Wiess college with Melissa and has known both of them for several years. Married last year to Chris Ryan, she is in her fourth year of medical school in Dallas.
"Sarah, you've done a great job of letting me vent and giving me ideas. I hope you consider doing your internship in Houston!"

Barry Scarbrough - Barry and Logan go way back, all the way to kindergarden. A graduate of William & Mary College, he is working for Frito-Lay as an accountant.
"Bear! From smurfs and clodpoles al the way to this. Friends like wine that improve with age."

Nicole Roberts - Nicole is a Rice grad who knew Logan before Melissa, rather than the other way around. Nicole can always be counted on for a cheerful word, strange fact or motherly hug. She has recently returned from graduate school in Pittsburgh.
"Nicole, when are we going to the movies?"

Joseph Martinez - Joseph is the younger brother of the bride. Living in Austin, he is employed by Doc Holliday as a regional auditor.
"Hey Joe, can you make me a deal on a new car? Something like yours would be fine. No? Well, how about a VCR, and I'll pay for your tux."

Sarah Kendall - Sarah is a friend of Melissa's from high school. She is currently enrolled in UH Law School.
"Sarah, you are one of the few friends from Victoria that I can still occasionally find. Even when we don't see each other for years, you always remember me. Thanks for being able to take part in our wedding."

Andy Lustfield - Andy is a buddy of Logan's from high school. He is currently enlisted in the Army, and is part of the 121st Air Mobile unit out of Kentucky.
"But, Andy, are you sure this is a good idea? No? But we're doing it anyway. I see..."

Tami Phillips - Tami is a friend of Logan's from middle school. She is currently living in Irving, but has made numerous trips to Houston to help Logan and Melissa plan the wedding, buy necessary items, move to a new apartment, and even throw the bachelorette party.
"There is no way I could have gotten through all of this without some help, and you stepped in when no one else would. I hope you do move to Houston, so that I can start to repay you for all you've done for me. But don't pour any more Cokes on Logan, please." "Tami, I still have that neckstrap if you want it."

Oscar Arias - Oscar is the uncle of the bride. He is a professional musician living in California. He actually volunteered to perform for us, so we are lucky to have his talents with us today.
