Mars Rover

At the suggestion of a representative from NASA, two projects were undertaken designing a Mars Rover in connection with a Mars program that they were involved in at the time. Two designs were worked out. One was a walking design. The other was a sort of "slithering" design that moved somewhat like a snake. NASA didn't consider either seriously but the students worked hard on them and learned a lot from them.
