Our research focuses on cellular protein folding and, particularly, on
• the relationship between protein folding and disease
• the molecular determinants of cellular protein folding
• the development of cell protein engineering strategies to manipulate the innate cellular folding quality control system
Our laboratory is involved in both fundamental and applied research and it is highly multi-disciplinary, working at the interface of cell and molecular biology and chemical engineering.
