There are approximately
3 million Luo people who live near Lake Victoria in parts of Kenya and
Tanzania. The Luo language has been the focus of our work this past
year in Ling 407/8: Field Methods and Techniques, taught by Suzanne Kemmer
at Rice University.
On your right you will find links to the pages of data we have collected, as well as other sources of information about Kenya and the Luo people. This page is presently under construction,
