Erica worked with Kellie on optimizing virus plasmid library construction.

Isis was one of the first members of the Suhlab. She helped setup the lab and worked on designing viruses for optical imaging applications.

Batoul worked with Clive on designing novel biosensors.

Mellonie was immersed in our research lab and experienced firsthand the ups and downs of academic research.

Kash did very well at the local and international Science & Engineering Fairs:

· 1st in Medicine & Health, Grand Prize in Life Sciences, Special Award recognition from U.S. Air Force and Houston Academy of Medicine & Harris County Medical Society: 49th Science and Engineering Fair of Houston

· 2nd place Grand Prize award in category of Medicine & Health, 2nd place award from U.S. Air Force, Recognition from MIT Lincoln Laboratory: Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, Atlanta, GA

· 3rd place in Medicine & Health, 50th Science and Engineering Fair of Houston

Every summer, Dr. Suh gives two lectures on “The Cell as a Machine”.
