Europe (Winter 2004-2005)
My wife, her friend Kristi, my friend Jeremy, and I took a trip to Europe over Christmas Break 2004-2005. We went to Germany, Italy, and Spain. Here are some pictures from that trip (thanks to Jeremy for some of these).

Here's my wife, my friend Chris (who's South Korean
and living in Berlin studying medicine), and I at Checkpoint Charlie in Berlin.

Here's a picture of Michelangelo's statue of Moses at
Saint Peter in Chains Cathedral in Rome.
This statue meant something to me personally, as I took a class on Sigmund
Freud while studying in Germany, and this is one piece of art that Freud 'psychoanalyzed'
in his essay ÒDer Moses des Michelangelos.Ó One funny thing about this statue: when Michelangelo was
alive, the term ÒhaloÓ had been mistranslated from the Torah as being horns
instead of Òrays of light.Ó
