Treatment Logic Chart

This flow chart details our decision process in treating bone fractures. Because each fracture is different and requires very different methods to fix them on Earth, outer space requires a similar, multifaceted approach. At first, proper immobilization of the fracture is most important. After the fracture is set and fixed, there are different methods that can be used to help heal the fracture more quickly. The treatment logic chart also includes provisions for non-unions, in which the fracture heals improperly.
