RESEARCH INTERESTS

·         Personality testing in personnel selection - considering psychometric characteristics (reliability), group differences (measurement invariance), and relationships with practical outcomes (validity) in organizational, military and academic settings.

·         Non-cognitive test development, with work in developing biographical data and situational judgment tests to predict college student performance, for potential use in college admissions as well as student counseling and development settings.  To learn more about my collaboration with the Group for Research and Assessment of Student Potential (GRASP), click here.

·         Expanding selection approaches to include vocational interests, job classification, and person-job fit, with 'fit' being a function of person and job information from different psychological domains (e.g., personality, interests, aptitudes).

·         Meta-analysis as it is used in organizational research.
