Fall
2003 5th Annual
AMD/Rice University
VLSI Design Contest
AMD is looking for a few good engineers to
help us build the world’s highest-performance microprocessors. Rice University’s ELEC422 VLSI Design Course
is a great step in enabling you to become the engineer we are looking for.
For the fifth consecutive year, AMD
is working with the ECE department to sponsor a VLSI Design Contest that will
allow you to show off the engineering talents you’ve been developing and
polishing over the past few years. This
is your chance to show what you can do!
The rules are simple: come up with a
creative VLSI project, design it, build it, and test it. The contest will be judged by Dr. Cavallaro
and by AMD representatives. The winners
will be determined based upon the creativity and complexity of the project, the
attributes of the design implementation, and the degree of successful testing
performed.
Prizes for the top groups will consist of
AMD Athlon line processors and gift certificates at a computer superstore.
What are you waiting for?
Get busy learning VLSI design techniques so you can win the 5th
Annual AMD/Rice University VLSI Design Contest!
