D. Michael Lindsay is a sociologist who specializes in issues surrounding leadership, organizations, religion, and culture. The author of several books, scholarly articles, and research reports, Lindsay recently completed the White House Fellows Project, which is the first systematic survey of the nation’s most selective leader-development program. Presently, he is completing the PLATINUM Study, the largest research project
involving in-depth interviews with senior leaders—in business,
government, and nonprofit life—ever conducted.
