Below are links to a "reduced" version of exam 1 of the Fall 2001 semester. This semester's exam 1 will have a similar format and similar type of questions. Use the lab time to work on the old exam as a way to prepare for the upcoming exam. Feel free to discuss the problems with your lab mates. The labbies are there to help you too.
You probably will recognize that question #1 is similar to one of the homework problems. You can skip it for now.
Question #3 refers to a list framework specified by three interfaces: IList, IEmptyList, and INEList. This framework is analogous to the OOscheme framework discussed in class this semester. You can do this problem by replacing all of the above three interfaces with AList.
The old exam has 4 questions. Question #4 involves writing visitors for LRStruct, which will not be covered in this semester's exam 1, and has been removed from this "reduced" version.
