The second in an integrated sequence of two courses
(BIOS 201, 202).
In 202 you will study the variety of life that makes up this planet, examining their structure, function, growth, origin, evolution, and distribution. You will learn about the various organisms, their classification, functions, how species come into existence, and their various interactions with each other and the environment.
You will also be introduced to the science of ecology and its various disciplines including population ecology, community ecology, and ecosystem ecology. We will also touch on conservation biology and restorative ecology.
