Teaching information:

I currently teach BUSI 343 Financial Management, Rice's undergraduate business finance course, and PhD seminars in finance (Corporate Finance Seminar, jointly with Gustavo Grullon, and different topical seminars that focus on empirical methods of causal inference in finance).  Syllabi for my current courses are available to Rice students via OwlSpace.

In the Fall 2016 issue, Rice Magazine ran an article about my undergraduate course: article link.

In the recent past I also taught MGMT 630 Financial Markets, an MBA course that I developed, and MGMT 843 Corporate Finance, the core finance course for the EMBA program, as well as a segment of MICO 601, an experimental course in which I taught causal inference statistical techniques to MBA students.

Undergrad business minors There are lots of acceptable substitutes for the statistics pre-requisite course.  Please see this information for undergraduate business minors page for the list of all the acceptable substitutes for the statistics pre-requisite for BUSI 343.
