Each student will be expected to present a 30 minute seminar on a recent research paper of their choosing
on a topic with a particular relevance to the class material.
- Dates for seminars are TBD.
- Seminar presentation is worth 10% of final grade.
- The paper chosen should be distributed to the class no less than 1 week prior to the seminar.
- Relevant journals include Astrophysical Journal, Solar Physics, Astronomy and
Astrophysics, Journal of Geophysical Research, Geophysical Research Letters, and
Space Weather, although other journals will be considered. Papers can be found with a key word
search on the NASA ADS website.
- An electronic copy of student presentation must be delivered to professor no later than 1 day after presentation.
