I am a third year graduate student in applied physics at
Rice
University and a member of
Dan
Mittleman's research group. My research involves studying
the properties of certain materials using
Terahertz
radiation. In addition, I work on investigating better ways of
guiding terahertz radiation using metal wires both experimentally and numerically (using
COMSOL).
My undergraduate work
was in Physics at
Southern University, Baton Rouge. While
there I also obtained
a masters in Physics with a concentration in astronomy under the direction of
Greg Stacy. While at Southern I was affiliated with the
Timbuktu academy which is directed by
Diola Bagayoko.
