The original image, found at www.cs.utexas.edu/users/alex/pictures.html, contains a man sitting in front of the tower at UT. The image I created from it could perhaps be thought of as a snapshot of the same view 15 minutes later by another photographer. The man and date are removed, and the sky is a little darker. To create most of the effects such as the uncovered facade, I primarily used the "rubber stamp" tool, to copies patterns on the building and in the stone from one place to another.
